Tracey Thoenes

Tracey Thoenes is the Interim Upper School Principal and the Upper School Guidance Counselor for the Academy. In addition to her leadership and administrative roles, she also teaches Algebra I. Mrs. Thoenes was born in Japan, but calls Huntsville home. She has a B.A. in Education, and a Master’s in Education/Curriculum and Instruction. Prior to joining the staff at Whitesburg Christian Academy in 2002, Tracey in Atlanta and spent time in the banking industry in the accounting department. She and her husband, Joachim, are the parents of two children, Kristina and Jonathan. Mrs. Thoenes is an active member at Whitesburg Baptist Church. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, watching Alabama football, Kentucky basketball, shopping, traveling, and spending time with family. Her favorite Bible verses are Philippians 2: 14-15.
