Jill McConnell

Jill McConnell teaches 6th Grade at the Academy. She grew up in Bushnell, IL. Mrs. McConnell received her Bachelor’s degree from Western Illinois University. Prior to joining the Academy in 2010, Jill taught 6^th – 8^th Grade Language Arts and P. E. in Utica, IL for one year; then 2^nd Grade at Yorkville (IL) Grade School for three years. She is married to Dave McConnell, who also teaches at the Academy. The McConnells attend Whitesburg Baptist Church. In her spare time she enjoys reading, being outdoors, visiting her large family, and mission work. Her favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4: 6-7.
