Emily Park
Emily Park teaches 3rd Grade at the Academy. She grew up in Huntsville, AL. Ms. Park received her B. A. in Elementary Education, with a minor in Music, from the University of Alabama Huntsville. Prior to joining the staff at Whitesburg Christian Academy in 2009, she served as a substitute teacher for Huntsville City Schools. Ms. Park also developed and implemented music classes and curriculum at Greengate School for Dyslexia and Covenant Classical School and Daycare. Emily currently uses her musical talent to teach private piano lessons. She is an active member at Southwood Presbyterian Church, where she has served as a teacher in Sunday school and children’s church. In her spare time, Ms. Park likes to read, spend time with family and friends, play ultimate Frisbee, shop, and teach piano. Her favorite Bible verse is Romans 8:28.
