Michele Tate

Michele C. Tate is the Assistant to the Headmaster for the Academy. In addition to those administrative duties, Mrs. Tate also coaches the varsity tennis team and teaches the high school yearbook class. She was born in Pittsburg, PA, but grew up in Huntsville, AL. She has a Bachelor’s of Business Administration (with majors in marketing and management) from the University of Montevallo. Prior to joining the staff at Whitesburg Christian Academy, Michele worked as a freelance business consultant, as Children’s Director at Flint River Baptist Church for 10 years, and as a marketing manager for Intergraph Corp. She and her husband are partners in a family farm, Tate Farms, in Madison County. She and her husband, Jeff, are the parents of three daughters, Meagan, Morgan, and Madison. Michele and her family are active members at Flint River Baptist Church, where she sings in the choir, is a praise team worship leader, and teaches the 9th & 10th Grade girls Sunday school class. In her spare time, she enjoys tennis, running, and water sports. Her favorite Bible verse is Ecclesiastes 9:10.
