*Students may take advanced math classes with administrative approval.  A math credit may be earned in the eighth grade and applied towards the graduation requirement, but four math classes must be taken in grades 9-12.

**A foreign language credit may be earned in the eighth grade and applied towards the graduation requirement.

***1/2 credit may be earned before the ninth grade if the required competencies are demonstrated to qualified staff.
